No, we only have to wire the remodeled bathroom to the most current electrical codes.
I heard if we remodel our kitchen that every outlet needs to be a GFI outlet. Is that true?
No, not exactly. Code requires that any outlet within 6 feet of the kitchen sink must be GFI protected. We can GFI protect a circuit without each individual outlet being a GFI device.
We are thinking about adding a new addition off of the back of our house, but the electrical meter is in the way. Can that be moved?
